Location

Glassford Creek Farmstay is located near the small country torn of Builyan, only 45 minutes from the Bruce HIghway (main north/south route on the East Coast).

Glassford Creek Farmstay makes the perfect stopover, situated approximately half way between Fraser Island and the Whitsundays. Transfers from Miriam Vale (on the highway) are included with pickup from the McCafferty's Bus or the train.

If travelling by car, we are easy to find by the directions below.

Directions from south:

• Drive north from Bundaberg/Hervey Bay on the Bruce Highway until 1km before Miriam Vale.
• Take the Blackman’s Gap Road (some gravel) to the left, signposted for Many Peaks.
• After approximately 40km’s take the left turn at the T intersection, signposted for Many Peaks.
• 8km’s to Builyan, once in town, take the left turn on Dalga Road, signposted to Bundaberg.
• Travel 3.5km’s from Builyan, following Bundaberg signposting, until you come to Glassford Creek Farmstay on “Boxvale”.

Directions from north:

• Drive south from Rockhampton on the Bruce Highway, turn right at the Calliope Crossroads towards the town of Calliope.
• Drive through Calliope and continue for approx. 5km’s and turn left on the Boyne Valley road, sign posted for Many Peaks.
• About 65km’s from the turn you will come to Builyan, once in town, take the left turn on Dalga Road, signposted to Bundaberg.
• Travel 3.5km’s from Builyan, following Bundaberg signposting, until you come to Glassford Creek Farmstay on “Boxvale”.
