Our Farm (History)

Glassford Creek Farmstay is an activity based holiday package situated on "Boxvale", a working cattle farm in Central Queensland.

"Boxvale" was purchased by the Oram Family in 2003 and runs about 300 beef breeding cattle and about 30 horses on over 4000 acres of rugged bush land.

This family-owned and run farmstay invites guests to join in with farm activities and get a taste of what it is like to live on the land.

As an alternative the Farmstay offers the experience as a retreat to relax and unwind with a non activities option aimed at guests who simply want to take it easy and soak up the sights and sounds of the bush.

We welcome travelers to stop and stay in our guest house, enjoy our hospitality, home cooked meals and of course the vast and beautiful landscape.
